NFL Signs Official Betting Deals

Several American sports leagues have signed official betting deals, and the NFL is the latest to do so. The league announced that three sportsbooks are now its official betting partners. As official betting partners, these bookies will have access to official league data and statistics for bets on its games, promote their relationship with the league, and tie their brands to player statistics. If the five-year deal holds, the league will receive nearly $1 billion in revenue from the deal. After three years, the league can opt out of the partnership.

The official sports betting partners for the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavs have signed deals with the two companies. Bally Sports, for example, has a deal with the Cavs to create a sports betting lounge inside FirstEnergy Stadium. Other recent signings include the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Browns. Most states allow remote registration, though there are still some that require in-person registration. In some states, you must be physically present to place bets, so be sure to register before visiting the official betting website.

After passing PASPA, the state of Arizona was among the first to legalize sports betting. It took just five months from signing the law to launching the market. By September 9, 2017, seven apps were launched on the state’s online sports betting market. There are also two sportsbooks in Phoenix-area stadiums. In the next few years, these two states may join the rest of the country. These sportsbooks will be a vital part of Iowa’s sports betting infrastructure.
